School Down The Krapper

Well it looks like my hopes of returning to LeTourneau University next spring have fallen once again! I have forgotten to turning a peer evaluation on the final project in my Fundamentals of Engineering Design class. It had to be in by 5:00PM THURSDAY!!!!!! Now I get a big fat ZERO on the final project, which means goodbye B hello C or D!
I am turning it in now, but I still am mad as hell.

I have no idea what to call this post

Well I know I will be taking Comp Sci I again. I bombed the final. Tomorrow at 7:30AM, I have the LEGOs final. I am not worried at all. And that is a great feeling.

UGHA! :-(

Whoa. Last night was terrible. I got so sick I was about to passout at Waffle Shoppe and I couldn't drive home. I dread this comp sci final. If I pass it will be by the grace of God and not my own doing. After the test I have to finish my LEGOs project and then write a Bible paper AND write chapel make-ups (but that won't be too bad).
Here I go off into the blue yonder!

Blessed Assurance

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain

This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Refrain

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

Refrain

Computer Science I

I don't know if I am sunk or if I am sinking. I have to learn some stuff I don't think I can grasp. I would really like to pass this class (the first time) so I don't have to take it again (and its cheaper that way). I still need to talk to Dr. Sumrall and see if I can stay here one more semester. Next semester is so promising! One of the guys in my Fundamentals of Engingeering Design class ( ie LEGOs or Fundamentals of Wasting Time) is taking the same Chem II class as I am. Instant study group! I am in the same Fed., State, Local Gov't as two of my suite mates, Stan and Bear.

Flyleaf

Flyleaf has come out with a music video for "Breathe Today."
This is awesome! I have known two of the five members of the band since my senior year in high school (2001-2002). Jared Hartmann (lead guitar) and Sameer Bhattacharya (guitar) are two very aggressive axe wielding men. I have followed them since they started in Temple, Tx, my hometown. They are signed with Octone Records. This is so cool!

Visit the fan site (higher quality DIVX) or the official site (MOV file) to get the vid.

Finals

Well to day is Tuesday and I have been up since 2 something o'clock. No finals today and I am happy about that.

well I'll post more later. I need to go eat something, my hands are shaking.

"It goes to SAGA."

Updates!!!

Look at the updates. I am learning!

Disfellowshipped

Question Mormon Church History and get Disfellowshipped

It Took Forever to post!!!

Current Background
(Tiled)(109x144)

This frightening picture is from a webcomic I was introduced to just the other day.
It's called El Goonish Shive. Very intersesting. People transforming into other people and animal-people. Very confusing. It is currnetly also my avatar on the only forum I troll around with any frequency (Unofficial LU Forums). Don't assume that the comic is scary or demonic, that is just one panel.

I started this post a few hours ago and have been up and around doing various trivial things to keep my mind off the finals I have forthcoming. Calculus II is today (Monday) at 9:45AM.

I need to go study Chapter 10

Bye

Word of the Day for Monday December 13, 2004

aborning \uh-BOR-ning\, adverb:
While being produced or born.

adjective:
Being produced or born.

In universities at least as much as anywhere else, vast
floods of words pour forth to no useful end. Nothing would
be lost if they had died aborning.
--Loren Lomasky, "Talking the talk: Have universities lost
sight of why they exist?" [1]Reason, May 2001

In "Base-Ball: How to Become a Player" he expounds on the
importance of the sport's vital edges: pickoffs, relay
throws, brushback pitches, drawing the infield in or moving
it out, hit-and-run plays, signals -- all commonplace
today, but in 1888 only aborning.
--Bryan Di Salvatore, [2]A Clever Base-Ballist

Nine months later, ABC Washington bureau chief George
Watson left to join the aborning Cable News Network, taking
several staffers with him.
--Judy Flander, "Catching up with Katie Couric,"
[3]Saturday Evening Post, September 1, 1992

Aborning is derived from a-, "in the act of" + English dialect
borning, "birth."
